Ordinary Beekeeper Natasha Morellis was experimenting with radioactive mutant bees one day when something totally expected happened. See, Natasha reads a lot of comics, so she wasn't surprised at all when she suddenly developed the ability to fly, control people's minds, and shoot sticky honey out of her hands. Happy to run off and fight crime, the newly-made Queen Bee did just that.

(And that's all honey in her belly.)
